I've been proofing all day and I needed a break! Thought I'd come back and share a couple more from one of my sesssions this last month.

Here is an adorable family I got to photograph recently. They just had their second child. Looking at big sister and seeing those big eyes, I just know she's going to be a real cutie and I'm looking forward to photographing her first year!

How cute is this! I usually will take a few little feet shots with the newborns, but big sister was right there and willing! I just love this!

Boy oh boy! I've had a busy couple of weeks, and am finally finding time to catch up with blogging, finishing orders, and all that other stuff that I've been putting off getting done! I am going to a convention this coming weekend in Waterloo Iowa with prophotogs.com. I'm really looking forward to it! I can't wait to meet with all the fellow photographers I've spoken to in various photography forums and shared ideas with.
Anyway, I have lots of new sessions to share with you! I'll post a few and let you in on a couple more in my next post!

Let's see... Here is a 6 day old little sweetie who decided to suprise her parents with her early arrival! We had planned a maternity session for mommy, but baby decided that the session was for HER, not mommy! This is not the first time this has happened! So basically, pregnant woman, if you want to iduce labor, book a maternity session with me and it will more than likely end up being a newborn session! Here are some of my favorites:
Alright, now here are a few from a maternity session that actually STAYED a maternity session! She was a gorgeous mommie to be. This is what they are talking about when they mention the pregnancy "glow".
Hmm, let's see, what other session do I want to share? There were so many that I just loved that it's really hard to choose! Ok, I've got to show you these little cuties. He was 2 and she was almost 5 months. He was such a little ham! I got to talk to him all about farm animals, hearing all the sounds they make. His baby sister had the biggest most adorable grin! She was such a happy baby, but I must admit it's those big eyes that make your heart melt! Here they are!

I've been stuck in the house for most of the last week with a sick little girl, so I haven't been able to get anything done! She is feeling much better now though and I'm like a chicken with my head cut off trying to catch up! I highly recommend getting your kids their flu shots, because it really does help. Nina got the flu vaccine back in December, and though she did still get the flu, it was much milder than I expected and she got better in half the time. What a relief! Plus, with the antivirals they have out there, I was able to keep some of my sessions this week without the risk of spreading Nina's germs to them. Things could have been so much worse, so I'm very grateful for my luck with this. Anyway, enough of the virus talk. Here are some cute babies! I was lucky enough to photograph another set of infant twins this week! They were gorgeous babies, with big dark eyes. Plus, I get to photograph them for the whole year! I can't wait to watch these little cuties grow.

I also got to work with this great family who just had their second child, a little girl. They are another family that I get to see throughout the next year! I love that I get such a great opportunity to document the first year of these childrens' lives, watching them grow and develop new skills and personalities. Here are some from this family:
